DeleteInterested? Well I have plans for so many bigger projects, but I probably wont be able to do that, at least not in a certain amount of time.
I only have limited resources of time and render power.
Even if I would have animated something big like this, the time I would need to render it out myself would take ages, or I need to outsource it and it would cost alot.
Thats why I stay with my small animated loops, because these I can handle :)
not exactly, i for one would do the rendering part longs i was told what to do. i'd do it for next to nothing at first. the to more reasonable amounts once you got going. obviously i have a real high end comp lol

Deletethe quality of the stuff you show is more than enough to sell if given the proper VO and in number like idk 10 animations for like 5-10 dollars or something hell add some garbage story to it if needed lol.... id edit all this in one post BUT i cant seem to see that option if thats even a thing
Deletewell I have a real high end gpu rendering power machine with 2 new gpu's made for rendering, so I even your rendering help can't be that much faster :)
DeleteI know you try to help, but let me get it in numbers with your example
2 minute animation = 3000 frames
when I render it with a simple setup like the one above with a little background:
1 frame = ~90 seconds
90seconds x 3000 frames = 75h pure render time
if you have a pc with 4x gtx1080 then the time will be ~38h
I had to sell one of these animations for at 5 dollars alone to be realistic on time/ cost value
beside filling a video with 2 minutes of animated goodies often ends up with a figure walking from a to b and this is often just boring and a good walk cycle needs so much work to look good and not like 3d garbage
I know I let me out easy, but the truth is most people here just want to see some action (maybe also some finishing action) and everything else just need so much more work to really look halfway good and thats what people will notice even when the rest is ok

bought 3 titan xp's last month, as im using 3, 4k screens with a 1080p main screen for games i need low delay/ high fps. though the i7 6950x was unneeded in many ways managed to get one 60% off from a clearance near my place so why not lol.
